This is one of my favorite afternoon snacks. I have a small amount of my ranch dip and a small amount of the raw cheese sauce. Like the ranch/dill dip, the cheese sauce will firm in the fridge. You can reconstitute with a bit of warm water and a sprinkle of Himalayan salt.
Raw Cheese Sauce
2 cups cashews (soaked)
1 clove crushed garlic or ½ tsp. powder
3/4 cup water
1 Tbl. lemon juice
¼ tsp. turmeric
1 Tbl. hemp seed
1 tsp. Himalayan salt
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
2 Tbl. more water if needed to facilitate blending
Blend until smooth. Refrigerate and drizzle over ANYTHING!
