Chocolate Macaroons

  • 1 ½ cups cacao powder
  • 3 cups organic dried coconut flakes
  • 1 cup organic real maple syrup
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1 T. Vanilla powder
  • ½ tsp. Himalayan salt

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Use a small scoop to spoon balls of dough onto dehydrator screens. Dehydrate at 115⁰ for 12 to 24 hours. Should be crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.

Before dehydrating, make impression into each ball and fill with strawberry/goji jam.  Dehydrate for 6-8 hours depending on the size of your macaroons.
